LCS experiment v271k has been analyzed
Dear colleagues,
LCS experiment v271k observed with LBA on 2012.04.28 has been
analyzed. Out of 90 scheduled target sources, 69 have been detected.
Two new 12 meters antennas, KATH12M and YARRA12M, joined. Another
12 meter antenna WARK12M participated, but had two failures:
1) at 12 hours it started to be so late on source (2-10 minutes)
that the data cannot be correlated; 2) 4 out of 8 IFs were lost.
The reason is unknown.
In this experiment 90 targets in the following groups were
observed.
17 sources in Magellanic clouds (14 detected)
1 sources associated with quasars (1 detected)
6 sources from Planck reported at 147/217 GHz (4 detected)
15 AT20G sources with ultra-inverted spectrum (15 detected)
39 ATPMN sources with Flux > 170 mJy and Spectral index > -0.55 (35 detected)
12 galactic plane sources from C1049 (0 detected)
It is troubling that none galactic plane targets have been detected.
As usually, results of LCS experiments are available at the project
web page http://astrogeo.org/lcs
Sincerely,
Leonid
