Comparison of EOP series.
I made comparison of UT1 series
gsf2000a.eops derived in Goddard from the 24 hours VLBI sessions,
gsfint01.eopi derived in Goddard
from short NEOS Intensive series with the file
finals.data
derived in USNO by combination of ... somewhat. Before comparison a linear
regression was subtracted from the finals.data by such a manner that no
linear trend remained in the differences gsf2000a.eops minus finals.data
over the period 1992.00 -- 2000.86
For comparison I interpolated finals.data by cubic spline.
- here green points are the differences of UT1
gsf2000a.eops minus finals.data, blue points are the differences
of UT1 gsfcint01.eopi minus finals.data .
- this plot zooms a small part of the previous
plot.
I also compared our UT1 series with the series last.eopk obtained by
the Goddard EOP Kalman
filter. Only results from the 24 hours experiments were used as the input
for the filter.
- here green points are the differences of UT1
gsf2000a.eops minus last.eopk blue points are the differences
of UT1 gsfcint01.eopi minus last.eopk .
- this plot zooms a small part of the previous
plot.
Finally I compared our UT1 series with the series all_last.eopk obtained by
the Goddard EOP Kalman filter. All results, from the 24 hours experiments and
from the Intensives, were used as the input for the filter.
- here green points are the differences of UT1
gsf2000a.eops minus all_last.eopk blue points are the differences
of UT1 gsfcint01.eopi minus all_last.eopk .
- this plot zooms a small part of the previous
plot.
- This plot present the differences between
gsf2000a.eops, gsfint01.eopi and ORIGINAL finals.data
without additional transformation.
- The same plots as above but without error bars
gsf2000a.eops, gsfint01.eopi and ORIGINAL finals.data
