e-vlbi experiment 03MAR25XX

Plot of the differences of UT1 from Intenstives sessions derived from Goddard a1 solutions and IERS C04 series. IERS C04 series were computed on the basis of VLBI solutions, but without contribution of 03MAR25XX. Experiment 03MAR25XX is the 8-th point from the left edge.

As we can see the 7-th point ($03MAR25XU) and the 8-th point ($03MAR25XX) are almost coincide.

More information is presented in the table.

I can also notice that this experiment had a lot of low-elevation observations. Refer at plot of postfit residuals versus elevation at KASHIM34 and plot of postfit residuals versus elevation at WESTFORD.

The difference of UT1 estimates from $03MAR25XX and 03MAR25XU, which ran 30 minutes before, is 13 musec, what is less than 1-sigma formal uncertainty.

Formal uncertainty of 03MAR25XX, 18.6 musec is 20% larger than median formal uncertainty of NEOS-Int experiments. From the other side, comparison of NEOS-Int experiments with the 24 hour experiment indicate that the formal uncertainties of UT1 are typically overestimated by the factor of 1.7-2.0. Accuracy of UT1 determination from NEOS-Int is about 25-30 musec.

Conclusion:

Quality of UT1 from the e-vbli experiment 03MAR25XX is not distinguishable from the quality of UT1 from regular NEOS-Int experiments.
