HEB format

Introduction

HEB format (HEader-Binary) is a very simple format for disseminating data that can be represented as a multidimensional array and meta-data describing the dataset. This is an alternative to extremely complicated popular FITS, HDF, and NetCDF formats. It is desirable to use FITS, HDF, and NetCDF if and only if their advanced features are really necessary.

A simple library that consists of two routines is provided. License: GNU Public License.
